17 hospitals in the city have introduced oxygen to AMC

 AHMEDABAD: Corona cases are on the rise in the city.  Corona's case and oxygen shortage are emerging.  In order to meet the oxygen requirement as well as to control the corona epidemic, the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation has set up an Oxygen Control Room to supply medical oxygen to the Kovid hospitals in the city 24 hours a day.



 17 hospitals in the city were introduced at the control room for refilling of oxygen cylinders from 6 pm yesterday to 2 pm today.  Out of which 5 hospitals have been provided 50 cylinders from the arrangement maintained by Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation.

 AIMS Hospital Paldi 10 cylinder, Sahyog Hospital Sarkhej 5 cylinder, Sushrusha Hospital Navrangpura 20 cylinder, Jaideep Hospital Navrangpura 10 cylinder as well as SBM Hospital Motera cylinder are provided.


 In addition, one kiloliter Porto Cayo tank placed in different hospitals is refilled as per requirement.  Liquid oxygen is provided to SMS Hospital, Kothia Hospital, Parikh Hospital as well as Shifa Hospital on the spot.


 Oxygen consumption of Shifa Hospital, Sindhu Hospital, Artham Hospital and Amena Khatun etc. will be audited by FDCA as well as GPCB.
