The chief minister denied any differences between the BJP and the state government

Ahmedabad: Amid speculation of increasing lockout cases in Gujarat, CM Rupani has given a hint about lockdown.  But before that he discussed in detail in an interview with a private news channel what efforts the state government has made to stop the transition to Corona.  The CM also spoke about the relationship between the state BJP organization (Kamalam) and his government and claimed to increase the number of beds in state hospitals.

In January we took the mini that went to Corona

Regarding the second wave of Corona, CM Vijay Rupani said that at present not only Gujarat but the whole of India is moving at a rocket speed.  When the cases dropped in January we felt Corona was gone.  But suddenly it has bounced.  The number of cases, which had come down to 300 in January, has risen to around 9,000 a day in the state today.  Even during the peak last November, the state never received more than 1800 cases in a single day.

The CM further clarified that this situation is not only of Gujarat but of the whole of India.  You see, in January, there were 12,000 cases of corona in the country every day.  It has risen to two and a half million today, showing just how deadly and fast the second wave of the Corona is.

The government took several steps to stop the transition

"We have made strict rules for Koro and have taken steps to stop it," said CM Rupani.  We imposed a 10-hour curfew in 20 cities in the state, in addition to requiring everyone to wear a mandatory mask, use a centrifuge, and maintain social distance.  Has banned social political gatherings.  It has also ordered 50 per cent staffing in government and private offices.  At the same time, the vaccination and testing campaign has intensified.  So as to prevent the spread of corona.  CM Rupani about lockdown

Patil did not black market injections: CM

Regarding the differences with the organization, the Chief Minister said that there was no difference between the BJP state organization and his government.  The work of state president CR Patil to distribute 5000 remedicivir injections in Surat was not wrong.  The organization and the government are working their own way.  He did not black market the injections.  The work done by Patil was in the interest of the society.  But Congress is politicizing this epidemic.

Regarding the works of the state government in Corona, he said that 40-45 thousand were tested every day in March.  It is worth Rs 2 lakh as of today.  I have said do as much testing as possible.

Regarding the shortage of beds in the hospital and the lines of ambulances, he said there was no shortage of beds.  We have made every effort possible.  On March 15 we had 41000 beds.  Which has been made 75000 by all efforts in just 20 days.  This is not about making beds.  If the beds are to be made, I will make one lakh beds.  But it also requires ancillary factors and manpower.  In addition to the three shift doctors per day, medical staff and oxygen lines have to be arranged.

He added that the line of 20-25 ambulances at the Civil Hospital was not a line, adding that

"Brother, there is only one patient in an ambulance. Even if there are 20-25 ambulances, there are only 20-25 patients.  Which is not to say more.  At the same time we did not let any patient go back.  He did not say that there is no place for you here.  Everything is arranged. "

It has a hospital but a shortage of medical staff, nurses and doctors.  So the help of private doctors will be sought if needed.  At the same time, we are speeding up the work of the new hospital.

Will there be a lockdown in the state or not?

Regarding the lockdown, Chief Minister Rupani said that the last lockdown was 15 days which was a lockdown all over India.  Currently Maharashtra has not even done a lockdown.  He has done night curfew all over Maharashtra and we in 20 cities.  Suppose there was a lockdown of 10 hours out of 24 hours in 20 towns.
