Seven people have died after drinking sanitizer in two separate incidents in Maharashtra's Yavatmal district. The incident has shaken the area. Police say all of these people drank sanitizer because they did not get alcohol. He has since been hospitalized in critical condition. Where he died during treatment.
Liquor stores are currently closed due to a lockdown. Which is why drinkers have to wander here and there to get drunk. His craving for alcohol led to his death. The first case is in the Teli Phil area of Vani city, where two persons named Datta Lanjewar and Nutan Pathkar knocked on a sanitizer due to non-availability of alcohol. Which led to his death.
Then another incident occurred in front of the import town. Where Santosh Maher, Ganesh Nandekar, Ganesh Cellar and Sunil Dhengle died due to drinking sanitizer. Police rushed to the spot and sent the bodies to rural hospitals for post-mortem.
