Surat: In the second wave of corona in the country, the rapidly spreading transition hospitals are missing beds, while fire incidents in these hospitals have also been coming to the fore in the last few days. A similar incident has come up from Surat. A fire broke out in the ICU of a city hospital, causing chaos. Fortunately, no major casualties were reported in theaccident.
Surat Hospital Fire According to the details received in this regard, AYUSH Hospital located on the 5th floor of Param Doctor House at Laldarwaja has been declared as Kovid Hospital. In which infected patients with corona are undergoing treatment. A fire broke out in the AC of Kovid ward of ICU at around 11.30 last night. However, on learning of the incident, a convoy of Surat Fire Department rushed to the spot and carried out rescue operations. Firefighters managed to contain the blaze within 30 minutes, rescuing 12 patients being treated at the hospital and shifting them to the Civil and Schmeier Hospitals.
