Amid rising cases of corona in Gujarat, core committee meeting started under the chairmanship of CM Rupani

 Gandhinagar: As the second wave of corona virus is rampant in Gujarat, the state government has taken several drastic measures, including night curfew, to break the chain of corona transmission.  However, there has been a worrying increase in the number of infections and deaths.  The meeting of the core committee has started today under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Vijay Rupani.  In which corona transition status is being reviewed and consideration is being given to curbing the transition.

 As part of breaking the chain of Corona transition in Gujarat, the state government announced a night curfew in the 29 most infected cities from 8 pm to 6 am on May 5.  Whose term is also coming to an end tomorrow.


 An important meeting of the core committee is being held at the Chief Minister's residence under the chairmanship of CM Vijay Rupani.  The meeting was attended by Education Minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasama, Energy Minister Saurabh Patel, Chief Secretary Anil Mukim, Additional Chief Secretary of the Home Ministry Pankaj Kumar, Director General of Police Ashish Bhatia and Additional Chief Secretary Dr Rajiv Kumar Gupta, MK Das and Principal Secretary for Health Dr.  Secretaries including Jayanti Ravi have also joined.
